Sorting center Argenteuil

The client wanted to construct a building that would be used for sorting various recycling materials as well as recovering construction materials. For this type of activity, a building with a large interior clear span offered an advantage for the classification of its materials.

Honco designed, manufactured and installed the building envelope as well as the large openings according to the client’s requirements. The building in this project has a surface area of 1375 m² (14,800 ft²).

The center also serves as an eco-center for the region and offers wood crushing and demolition services. It has equipment that can transform glass into beads or fine powder, ready for sale to companies specialized in transformation.
