CFER sorting center

The Regional Corporation wanted to build a sorting center to recover recyclable materials.

Honco was awarded a contract to design, manufacture and install the plant and offices to meet the requirements of a sorting center operation, i.e. a large interior space free of structural frames and offering a functional environment.

One of the advantages of the Honco building is its structural ceiling which avoids the accumulation of residual dust on the beams as in conventional buildings. In this project, the building provides a total floor area of 2030 m² (21 850 ft²).

The sorting center recovers materials of all kinds: plastic, cardboard, glass and has equipment for the transformation of certain materials for resale to specialized companies.
