Construction Groleau was ready to invest in a privately-owned ice arena, the first to house a triple NHL-sized ice hockey rinks in Eastern Quebec, and that would meet the demand for ice renting. Honco building system was chosen in the carrying out of this project for the advantages it offers in the recreational sector such as competitive prices in large clear spans compared to traditional structures. The Honco building sits on simpler and economical linear foundations even in cases of low bearing capacity grounds. In this project, Honco has carried out the design, the fabrication and the installation of the building envelope.

Moreover, the Honco team expertise has been employed successfully by providing permanent technical assistance during the various steps of the project, from the taking of the first needs, the planning of the project, up until the interior finish. The project was carried out according to short time frame from June to November 2012. The total investment in this state-of-the-art sports complex amounted to 15M$.
