Xstrata Nickel

Xstrata Nickel has granted various mandates to Honco during the years 2000 to 2010. The contracts included the engineering and the fabrication of the buildings, the procurement, the delivery, and construction of the buildings on the Raglan mine, in northern Québec.

Honco has put in place the necessary technical support during the carrying out of these projects in northern régions, which has allowed us to properly plan and to optimize each site operations. The resistance of the Honco steel structure and the energy efficiency of the building envelope are among the many benefits given for constructions in northern régions where high winds are present.

Among the projects carried out on the nickel mine site, Honco has completed maintenance garage and administration facility, biodisc building, various surface and generator buildings, and core library facility.
