Carleton University

Carleton University, which is located in Ottawa, is pursuing its development plan relating to its sports infrastructures by adding a double ice rink arena including a service area. The professionals from “The Parkin Group” firm have worked on this project. Through its partner from Ottawa, Mc Donald Bros. Construction, HONCO has obtained a contract for the design and supply of a twin ice pad facility including one with bleachers. The self-supporting structure system suits perfectly the requirements on energy efficiency. Its attractive ceiling which reflects the light and its superior insulation method allows to reduce the operation costs.
