Alcoa Fjardaal Smelter Project

In addition to having the ability to provide the technical know-how while carrying out construction work on industrial mining sites, Honco has been active also in the foreign markets including Iceland.  Through the professional firm Groupe SCV, Honco has been mandated to design, to supply, to fabricate, to deliver and to supervise the installation of a steel building.

Apart from working on the design of the steel building, Honco coordinated all the openings and electrical components that the professionals had planned under the floor structure. Due to the remote geography of the site, the planning of the project had to be carefully analyzed to successfully carry out on-site work.
