N.W.T. Housing Corporation

Honco was contracted in the 1990’s by North West Territories Housing Corporation to design, fabricate, coordinate the delivery of materials by ship and construct their service facility in Lake Harbour on Baffin Island.

One of the advantages of the Honco building system is its envelope constructed of structural panels that are resistant to weather and high temperature differential. The insulation of the walls and roof is very efficient which provides an unmatched energy performance. This building has a surface area of 300 m² (3 240 ft²).
