Honco Buildings is proud to have obtained the mandate for the design-build of an aircraft hangar for the aeronautical giant, Airbus, located in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada.
The Honco self-supporting construction system offers a large clear span without columns as in this aeronautical project where the building required 45 m in width and 15.2 m in interior height for a total area of 2,250 sq.m. (24,200 ft²). In addition, to facilitate the entry of aircraft and the work of technicians, hangar doors with a quick-action roll-up mechanism were installed on the façade of the hangar.
