This construction project carried out for Autobus Galland Ltée included the construction of a garage in Saint-Faustin-du-Lac-Carré. Acting as a general contractor in this turnkey project, Honco has delivered a building designed for the maintenance and repair of the company various vehicles in addition to providing space for administrative offices. When constructing such commercial facility, energy efficiency of Honco buildings has to be considered as an important benefit since it results in a comfortable work environment and savings in operation costs.
The new building of Autobus Galland Ltd. offers a design according to the standards and regulations in force without neglecting its aesthetic side. Its facade mixes stone and metal coatings forming a harmonious whole. There are also garage doors on both sides of the building whose location and size are planned to facilitate operations.
The building has mechanical pits for bus repairs, a heating pad and internal and external drain points. In addition, all exterior parking spaces for buses have an electrical outlet.
The project consists of a 24m by 35m curved roof type structure and has an interior clear height of 6m for a total area of 860 m² or 9250 ft².
