The municipality of Beauceville made the decision to offer a new sports infrastructure to its community and, following a public call for tenders, Honco Buildings was awarded the contract for the construction of this two-part project. The MULTISPORTS Project, located in the heart of the City of Beauceville, is made up of the EJM / René-Bernard arena and a Cité Sportive.
Having opened its doors on July 17, 2021, the arena with an area of 2,900 square meters houses an NHL-sized ice rink, bleachers that can accommodate 250 spectators, 7 rooms for 15 to 22 male players and 1 room for 15 female players. There is also a snack area with a view of the skating rink as well as a multipurpose room for various social and cultural activities.
Designed to harmonize with the surroundings, this turnkey project offers all generations a pleasant environment for the practice of ice sports and community gatherings. The main entrance, equipped with abundant windows, creates a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and the open area of the entrance hall provides fluid circulation and access to all interior areas of the complex. This vast hall also has a large bay window offering a breathtaking view of the ice rink, allowing all users to be in the heart of the action.
Honco is proud to have worked in close collaboration with the municipality in order to offer citizens this major project which will contribute to the cultural and sporting influence of the City of Beauceville.
