The VC Renovation and Construction LFG Atlantic and Honco Steel Buildings Consortium is proud to have built a new, modern sports complex for the city of Richibucto, New Brunswick. The complex, known as the Imperial Kent North Center, includes a National Hockey League sized ice rink, a double gymnasium surrounded by an elevated walking track, and a fitness room.
It was in the fall of 2017 that the consortium members were awarded the challenge of delivering the building for the fall of 2018. To do this, the project got under way quickly. The foundations and the beginning of the erection of the building were carried out in the weeks following the announcement to allow the interior work during the winter. According to schedule, the official opening of the arena took place in early December 2018, just in time for the opening of the ice sports season.
